Jennie and Simon Furnival opened Napley Lodge Farm Day Nursery in September 2005. Simon runs the family dairy farm on site and Jennie was a Qualified Primary School Teacher who oversaw the day to day running of the nursery. In June 2024, we were deeply saddened by the passing of Jennie and since Simon has become the primary owner of the nursery alongside their daughter Emily.

Abbie has been part of the Napley family since October 2020 and since then Abbie has gained her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and has led the pre school room since 2022.

Abbie has recently took on the role of Assistant Manager and supports the Nursery Manager in all aspects of running the nursery and ensures high standards of care and development are followed throughout the nursery. She is the SENCO lead within the setting and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead with a Level 2 Safeguarding qualification. Abbie is also a Paediatric First Aider.

Emily has been at Napley since June 2021. She currently leads the baby room and holds a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development. Emily also holds a Level 2 Safeguarding Qualification and is another one of our Deputy Safeguarding Leads. Emily is also paediatric first aid trained.

Emily is also one of our Senior members of staff and works alongside the Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure a safe environment for the children.
